3D printed bones: Blend of natural and man-made materials works best, study in mice shows

A study carried out at Johns Hopkins University has shown that pulverized bone can be combined with polycaprolactone to create viable 3D printed cell scaffolds for bone replacement procedures. Mixtures with more bone powder encouraged bone formation better, but those with more PCL were stronger.
